I am wondering about the public consultation and what steps were taken to make Ivybridge residents aware of the proposal to build an Incinerator? and on what time scale?

I would like some informatio from Viridor regarding thier plans. I have sent them an email via thier website. So far I haven't received any information regarding this proposal.

Between July and October, we conducted three widely-advertised public consultation exhibitions in Ivybridge, Lee Mill and Yealmpton, hosted three separate briefings for local elected officials, the local media, and groups with an existing interest in the community and environment. We have also attended the monthly meetings at nine local parish and town councils which are open to the public. 7,500 leaflets have been distributed advertising the events and the proposals and adverts taken out in the local press. All information and contact points have also been made available online on our website www.viridor-consultation.co.uk/newengland. Dear Virdor,

You should know that your claim of delivering 7,500 leaflets is a constant source of amusement amongst residents, as it appears that only something in the region of 1% of households received one.
Please could you provide evidence of having printed so many leaflets, and also details of your distribution company and any evidence to prove that such a request to deliver so many leaflets was ever made, or else quit repeating this number every time you are questioned regarding your consultation efforts to date.
