Derby Council Planning Committee - Decision to Reject Planning Permission For Incinerator
This is the webcast of the Derby City Council's Planning Control Committee which met on 27th December 2009. They discussed the planning application of an incinerator which they then voted against. his webcast should be watched by all those people looking to oppose the Viridor application for planning due to be submitted to Devon County Council early 2010.

Channel 4: 30 new rubbish incinerator plants planned for the UK (21/07/08)
Channel 4 News repored into at least 30 new incinerators planned for the UK (in 2008, there's 'many' more than that planned now!), asking the question if there could be over estimates of future waste levels that may undermine recycling efforts and cost the taxpayer dearly in the future.
